The Rev. DeWitt Hill, pastor of First Trinity Church of God in Christ in Pine Bluff, will present the funds to Haiti pastors. He has been working with Haitian churches for about 40 years.Hill will lead a missions group scheduled to leave for Haiti on Jan. 28.News photos and videos of Haitian victims depict their suffering, said Carroll.
“These folks need our help,” he said. “These folks need our understanding. These folks need our compassion.”
Winning the parade banner contest was Greenville Gentlemans Club, with its theme of “Building Our Community One Gentleman at a Time.”
