Man Stabbed Outside NE Side Strip Club
Police: Man Sought In Stabbing At Paradise Strip Club
POSTED: Thursday, September 29, 2011
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police are trying to track down the ex-boyfriend of a woman who they said stabbed her husband during a fight outside a Northeast Side strip club early Thursday.
When police were called to the Paradise Gentlemen’s Club off Interstate 35 near Loop 410 shortly before 3:30 a.m., they found a 32-year-old man with two stab wounds to his chest, said Capt. Cris Andersen of the San Antonio Police Department.
The victim was taken to a hospital in serious but stable condition, Andersen said.
Police said the man was visiting the strip club with his wife when the woman’s ex-boyfriend showed up.
The woman then went outside with the ex-boyfriend and her husband soon followed, police said.

The ex boyfriend leaves the scene and the wife takes off and leaves her husband as well? Wow, I don’t think this marriage is going to last much longer.

San Antonio Strip Clubs: Embezzler with stripper addiction gets 20-year term

Saturday, September 3rd, 2011

An accountant who embezzled more than $500,000 from a San Antonio medical corporation over a three-year period, spending much of it on strippers, was sentenced Friday to 20 years in prison. Defense attorney Demetrio Duarte asked the jury for probation, describing his client as someone who was…

San Antonio Strip Clubs: Top Stories TX

Saturday, August 20th, 2011

An Austin supporter of Ron Paul wants to know if there are any women who have engaged in promiscuous activity with Rick Perry. Paul refused to comment on the print ad Friday, saying it would provide something “rather silly” with “too much credibility.”
Robert Morrow, the Paul supporter responsible for the ad, spoke briefly with reporter Justin Elliott of Salon, indicating that the organization noted on the ad — Committee Against Sexual Hypocrisy (CASH) — was really just himself.
In part, the ad reads: “HAVE YOU EVER HAD SEX WITH RICK PERRY? Are you a stripper, an escort, or just a ‘young hottie’ impressed by an arrogant, entitled governor of Texas? Contact CASH, and we will help you publicize your direct dealings with a Christian-buzzwords-spouting, ‘family values’ hypocrite and fraud. … Offer not valid for enabling wives wearing Hillary Clinton boots. Note to gay people: If you know the truth about Rick, please QUIT covering for him.”

San Antonio Strip Clubs: Yahoo! Sports report alleges rampant improprieties at Miami; UPDATE — Coker …

Wednesday, August 17th, 2011

It’s critical to note that Coker is not mentioned anywhere in the exhaustive report, which includes phone records, receipts, personal photos and second-party sources who corroborate many of Shapiro’s allegations. Nor did three football assistants specifically identified in the story — Clint Hurtt, Jeff Stoutland and Aubrey Hill — work under Coker. A fourth assistant, Joe Pannunzio, worked under Coker in 2006, his final season at Miami.
But Shapiro, who is serving jail time for his participation in a massive Ponzi scheme, alleges to have begun his run of decadence in 2002, the second of Coker’s six-year stint with the Hurricanes. And some of Coker’s best players are listed among the 72 Shapiro alleges to have provided benefits, including Devin Hester, Jonathan Vilma and Vince Wilfork.
The allegations range from the mundane — like providing pocket change to pay bills or help relatives — to the unbelievable, such as one incident in which Shapiro alleges to have arranged for a player to have sex with a dancer at a strip club, then paid for an abortion when the woman became pregnant.

San Antonio Strip Clubs: The big winners in return of Cowboys training camp? Local strip clubs, of course

Tuesday, July 26th, 2011

When last we visited Rick’s Cabaret in Dallas, its owner was exploiting a loophole that allowed him to feature nude entertainment in the two weeks leading up to the Super Bowl. Yes, those were the boom times, when strippers roamed the Texas plains in great herds, and there were lap dances as far as the eye could see.
But then, Texas hit the hard times. The NFL lockout meant no players in town, and even more importantly, no fans to watch them practice. It was lean times for strippers, especially in San Antonio, where the Cowboys training camp is located.
But now the lockout is over, and the semi-nudity is back! The Cowboys open training camp at the Alamodome in San Antonio on Thursday, which means the strippers shouldn’t be far behind.

San Antonio Strip Clubs: US federal court employee kidnapped, killed in Mexico

Wednesday, July 20th, 2011

The officials said three people were arrested, including a stripper claiming to be his lover, and two more suspects are being sought.
Federal sources Wednesday confirmed Dieppa’s identity and said the FBI in El Paso had been called in to assist the family since he was a U.S. citizen. The FBI declined to comment, as did Dieppa’s family.
“He was a dedicated and loyal court family member,” said Fred Biery of San Antonio, chief judge of the Western District. “He leaves behind a widow and two sons.”

The Mexican news outlet Puente Libre, however, reported on its website that one of the suspects, a stripper named Lizbeth Nayeli Rodríguez Alanis, said Dieppa had been her lover for five years. Rodríguez claimed she and her accomplices decided to kidnap him after learning he taught college courses in El Paso, Puente Libre reported.

San Antonio Strip Clubs: Snake Farm’s Charms Still Casting Spells

Friday, July 15th, 2011

Those carloads add up — and it’s not just families. Even after four-plus decades, the Snake Farm manages to attract 400,000 visitors of all ages annually. At $9.95 per person ($6.95 for children 2 to 12), it’s a tidy little business.
In the late 1970s, the iconic New York punk rockers The Ramones stumbled upon the Snake Farm while on tour between Austin and San Antonio. The band subsequently began to wear Snake Farm T-shirts as part of their stage and offstage personae. Snake Farm shirts, replicas of those worn by the late Dee Dee Ramone, have been available online for $49.95.
Five years ago, Ray Wylie Hubbard (the singer-songwriter who performs on the other side of New Braunfels tonight at Gruene Hall) paid homage with “Snake Farm,” a song about a guy in love with a stripper who works the counter at, yes, the Snake Farm. The engaging sing-along refrain: “Snake Farm, sure sounds nasty. Snake Farm, pretty much is. Ewwwwwww.”

San Antonio Strip Clubs: Little-noticed killing snuffed out dream

Sunday, July 10th, 2011

It took Lorena Smith a decade working as a dancer at strip clubs to get to where she was, close to paying off her mortgage on a home in a gated community and only a couple of courses short of earning a nursing degree.
The single mother had raised two sons and only recently started going out, rewarding herself after three years of strictly studying. As she celebrated this new chapter, a gunman took her life.
“That is the ironic thing,” said her older son, Dorian Dégagé, 21. “She always wanted to search for that American dream. Wanted to show her parents she was independent, that she could succeed in this country.”

“She was a stripper because he made her do that,” said her sister, Maria Romisch, 52. Divorced, remarried and divorced again, Smith continued to dance at places like the Wild Zebra. It was a steady income for an immigrant without a college degree.

Eric Guerrero Charged With Aggravated Robbery
POSTED: Thursday, July 7, 2011
SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police have arrested a suspect in a shooting and robbery on the northeast side earlier this year.
Eric Guerrero, 22, is charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon in connection with the March 27 incident.
The victim told police he met up with Guerrero and two other men outside a strip club on Perrin Beitel Road.
The arrest affidavit said all three men moved to the parking lot of another nearby business where they got involved in a fistfight. At some point, someone pulled out a gun and shot the victim.
The man said the suspects also ripped his gold chain off his neck and drove away in his car.
