Monday, August 15th, 2011… San Antonio, TX) — Members of a local Tejano band are OK but without their instruments after their RV caught fire. Carlos y Los Cachorros had just gotten done playing in Odessa and was headed to Pearsall when its members saw smoke coming out of the RV. Carlos Rodriguez, lead vocalist and the band’s accordion player, tells KSAT-TV the band quote “lost everything, just like that.” He says he is not sure how he and his band mates will get over the loss but he is grateful they pulled over right away and all got out safely.

(Guadalupe County, TX) — Two women are facing prostitution-related charges after a raid. Authorities say 46-year-old Son Gang was arrested for alleged prostitution while 60-year-old Ki Clark faces promotion of prostitution charges. Officials say the two tried to pretend their business, Rainbow Reflexology in Guadalupe County was a legitimate massage parlor. Law enforcement agents raided the parlor last week.
