San Antonio Escorts: Detained immigrant children moving to air base

The children have been distributed among 10 states, where they receive government-provided housing, health care and psychiatric treatment. Nearly 9 of every 10 immigrant children are reunited with their families.
Unaccompanied children are not housed in immigrant detention centers, Linda Brandmiller, immigration services director for Catholic Charities in San Antonio.
Two-thirds of the children are from Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras, while 12 percent are from Mexico. About 80 percent are boys, with 83 percent being older than 14.
Half of the children crossing the border are caught by the Border Patrol, Limon said. Most of those contacting her organization for help say they fled forced recruitment into gangs or prostitution, she said.

According to SAPD investigators Robert Parton, 39 was arrested Friday on warrants of sexual assault of a child, sex trafficking and compelling prostitution. Detectives said during April of 2011 Parton allegedly provided drugs for a 15 year old girl before sexually assaulting her and forcing her to prostitute herself to him. Police said Parton was arrested without incident Friday.

It’s the words they use, the clothes they wear—even the age of the people they spend time with or whom they connect with on Facebook. There’s a reason behind all of it, said the director of family support services in San Antonio’s North East Independent School District.
Thanks to attending a training session held by Traffick911—an anti-trafficking effort that grew out of Southside City Church in Fort Worth, Shoesmith is better equipped to understand the details. Some of the glimpses he sees now point to dark stories of prostitution and human trafficking.
As a result of the knowledge he gained during the training, Shoesmith has been able to identify trafficked children in San Antonio. The tips are small but consistent—a young woman who refers to someone other than her father as “daddy,” dressing provocatively and spending time with older men.

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Authorities say a man already jailed on rape and prostitution charges is now accused in the shooting death of a man in a San Antonio motel.
An arrest affidavit for Kwaku “Q” Agyin alleges that the 20-year-old used a woman to lure 35-year-old Marcus Anderson to a motel room, where Agyin emerged from a closet and fatally shot Anderson on Oct. 2.
The San Antonio Express-News reported Friday (http://bit.ly/vIaxZP ) that Agyin was being held in the Bexar County Jail on a $150,000 bond on the murder charge.
A jail official said the suspect faced bonds totaling $205,000 on charges related to sexual assault of a minor and trafficking of children. Agyin was arrested Oct. 12 on the sex-related charges.
