San Antonio Escorts: ‘Pawn Stars’ hit gold

Sunday, January 30th, 2011

Rick and his father, a Navy veteran, got their pawn licenses together 23 years ago, after operating a second-hand store. He’d been featured in newspaper and television stories over the years, and noticed a surge in business after the publicity. “So I figured if I had a reality show, it would really drive business.”
And?
“It’s working!” he says, with a hearty laugh. The popularity prompted an expansion of the showroom last year and the addition of a souvenir section, where visitors can buy “Pawn Stars” T-shirts, magnets and the like. When they have time, the Harrisons autograph souvenirs and chat with fans.
“Pawn Stars” contains elements of other popular reality shows mixed in with the drama associated with a family business. “I’m ‘Antiques Roadshow,’ ‘Pimp My Ride,’ ‘American Choppers.’ I’ve got the whole bike family dynamic,” he says, adding that he’s more down to earth than other shows regarding the value he puts on items people bring to the shop.

Man pleads guilty to strip club double murder Reduced charge allows possibility of parole. By Craig Kapitanckapitan@express-news.net Published: 10:35 p.m., Tuesday, January 25, 2011

The trio had been driving around just past 2 a.m. looking for a place to buy beer when they drove by the strip club and saw four men gesturing at them, Tovar told police. Garcia mentioned the strangers were “strapped” but turned around anyway and drove to the entrance of the Secrets parking lot, Tovar said. They ended up crashing into a car in the parking lot and gunfire erupted moments later, he said.
Two employees at Secrets identified the defendant as the shooter, describing him as a VIP at the strip club who showed up about every other day in his distinctive Maserati Quattroporte sports car. He left the vehicle at the crime scene with the front door open and was seen running off, authorities said.

San Antonio Strip Clubs: SA executive handed 12 years for customer swindle

Monday, January 24th, 2011

Mirelez was found guilty by a jury in October and sentenced to 20 years in prison after less than 30 minutes of deliberation. However, he was granted a new trial last month after he accused attorney Charles Bomba, who usually handles civil matters, of ineffective counsel. Prosecutors are appealing the decision.
Kunz’s attorney, Alan Brown, asked state District Judge Juanita Vasquez-Gardner on Monday for probation, or a prison term of five years or less. Kunz deserves credit for cooperating with prosecutors, he said.
San Antonio firefighter Bradley Neel, who previously worked for Kunz, was one of five people to testify that he was an honorable man and a good father.
“Maybe he’s a bad businessman, but that doesn’t make him a bad person,” Neel said. “He’s got a good heart.”
Prosecutor Jessica Frazier pointed out that Kunz admitted to abusing cocaine and alcohol while the business was failing, and to spending money at strip clubs.

San Antonio Adult Entertainment: San Antonio Cop Gets Slap on Wrist For Sexual Assault

Friday, January 21st, 2011

Former San Antonio Officer Craig Nash will be spending a year in jail, a far cry from the sentence he could have faced if rape charges were filed. But in another case of special privilege behind the badge, Nash was offered a chance that most “regular folks” don’t get in similar circumstances.
Early last year a transgendered prostitute came into a police station stating she had just been raped in the back of a police car. She had been picked up by Officer Nash, cuffed in the squad car, and told to lie down in the back seat as he drove to a remote location. Once there she was forced to commit sexual acts on Nash before he took her back into town and dropped her off near a school. She immediately caught a bus to the police station. A rape kit would later show Nash’s DNA present on the victim.

San Antonio Adult Entertainment: Officer Rapes Captive, Gets One Year in Jail: Is That Enough?

Friday, January 21st, 2011

We give police officers a lot of power and respect, because they put their lives on the line everyday for us. But with this responsibility comes an obligation to not abuse it, or suffer the consequences.
So why is a police officer who raped a transsexual prostitute in the backseat of his car after he arrested her only guilty of a misdemeanor?
Former San Antonio police officer Craig Nash was sentenced this week to a year in jail for official oppression, according to the San Antonio Express-News. Nash, 39, picked up the victim off the streets and handcuffed her in the back of his patrol car. She was then forced to commit multiple sex acts, according to the story. A second transsexual prostitute came forward with similar sex allegations after the charges went public.

San Antonio Adult Entertainment: Texas Cop Gets One Year In Jail For Raping Two Transwomen

Thursday, January 20th, 2011

The news out of Texas is if a man rapes a ‘tranny’, he gets a slap on the wrist while his victim gets a life time of pain and suffering. Craig Nash received a year in jail on a misdemeanor charge of “official oppression” despite the fact that he arrested a transsexual prostitute in San Antonio, handcuffed her, drove to a hidden location, and forced her to perform several sex acts while he was on duty. Her story was confirmed by a rape kit that showed that Nash had raped her, and the GPS device in his patrol car showed that he had driven to that location. What is more, another victim had come forward to tell that she, too, had been raped by Nash.
