San Antonio Escorts: Former NBA All-Star Alvin Robertson the Sex Trafficker?

Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010

The former Spur was arrested in Bentonville, Arkansas this week for allegedly taking part in a sex trafficking ring involving a 14-year old girl.  According to his arrest warrant, Robertson is being fingered as one of seven people who kidnapped the girl and forced her into prostitution and dancing at a Corpus Christi strip club.  The warrant also accuses Robertson of sexually abusing the minor.
Jimmy Parks, Robertson’s attorney, claims Robertson is completely innocent of all charges.  Parks calls the allegations a conspiracy.  He goes on to say that his client is being targeted because of his fame (his fame?).
Wow.  Robertson is in some serious trouble here.  Let’s hope police get to the bottom of whoever is responsible for the abuse of this young girl.

San Antonio Adult Entertainment: Swapping Bibles for Porn on Campus

Monday, March 22nd, 2010

A young person may look at any story with sexual details and, after reading the most sensational part, rush to show the article to their friends. In fact, some adults might do the same thing.
But if they do this with the Bible, they will miss the part further along that tells the moral of the story.
In the Bible, there are always consequences for sexual acts outside of marriage, and plenty of rules against the sexual mistreatment of women. Even the heroes of the Bible got into trouble for such things.
Take Samson in the Old Testament, for example (Judges 14-16). He could have married any well-bred woman within his Hebrew community, but he lusted after prostitutes and got away with it for quite a while. Until Delilah, who took away his strength and turned him over to Philistine captors. Samson’s eyes were poked out, he was thrown in a hard labor prison, and only redeemed himself by dying to save his countrymen.

San Antonio Adult Entertainment: The ides of Texas are upon us

Wednesday, March 17th, 2010

Perhaps the most difficult offering to swallow in this set is Amys Last Shift. Playwright James Venhaus and director Vermeulen conjure the smoke-filled back room of a topless pastry shop, appropriately named Double D Donuts, Home of the largest cups of coffee in town. There, a motherly, long-time employee (Vermeulen) talks a wide-eyed, auburn-haired newbie, Amy (Bianchi), through the ups and downs of working in the seedy metropolis of the sex industry albeit in a softer borough.
Any individual, especially in this economy, whos hit that anything-for-a-paycheck point can understand the precarious nature of the situation: The longer youre here, the harder it becomes to explain the blank spot on your resume. But when Amy does just what the plays title suggests, her departure is written and performed with a whiff of self-righteousness that persons who have chosen a career in sex work might find demeaning.

He also acknowledged he committed a number of robberies, still unsolved, during the trek from Indiana to Florida, Texas and California.
McFarland, a former stripper, was wounded during the police chase in San Francisco. Lopes’ credit card, badge and service weapon were recovered from the truck, along with a Chinese-made 9 mm pistol determined to be the gun used to fatally shoot Lopes in the top of the head.
