Girl scout hockey by the Las Vegas Wranglers
Girl scouts playing hockey?
Get out your sashes and cookies — on March 12, the Las Vegas Wranglers will be dressing up as girl scouts.
A game event night similar to dressing as Rod Blagojevich (ousted Chicago governor) in prison or dressing up as strippers (our favorite) has led the Wranglers to Girl Scout Night, in honor of the Scouts’ 98th birthday.
The Wranglers will be playing the Bakersfield Condors at the Orleans Arena (at The Orleans) for $10 a ticket, some of which will go toward the Las Vegas Girl Scouts of Frontier Council.
The girl scout hockey uniform will also be on silent auction.

Minor League hockey teams have always looked for new and unique ways to get fans to come to games, and the Las Vegas Wranglers of the East Coast Hockey League are no different.
On March 12th, the team that brought you “Gov. Rod Blagojevich Prison Uniform Night”…
and “stripper-riffic “Over 18″ Night” will now have their players wearing jersey’s that resemble Girl Scout uniforms, in honor of the 98th Anniversary of the Girl Scouts.
I guess a natural hat trick will be a box of Thin Mints, Do-si-dos, and Peanut Butter Sandwich.

San Antonio Massage Parlors: Where’s the best place to get a massage?

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

When it ended way too soon, I could think of nothing else but getting another one.
Even though at the end of every massage my masseur or masseuse tells me I really should have them more than once a year due to the amount of stiffness in my shoulder/neck area, I never do.
After this last one though, I think I need to start heeding that advice.
Before I can do that, though, I need to find a good massage parlor in Houston or Peach County. It doesn’t matter whether it is a massage school or not.
I find that when it comes to businesses like massage parlors, it is better to ask for recommendations than to just go to one, since some are more professional and clean than others.

San Antonio Adult Entertainment: King service has Jesus as its star

Friday, January 22nd, 2010

Ms. Dixon urged members of Lo-Salem, whose church is near an outdoor basketball facility, to go out and get to know the young people who shoot hoops during the warm months. They could take them bottled water, she said. They should stay and talk to the young people, she said. If church members are filled with Jesus Christ, she said, that essence ”will come out of your pores” to the young people, Ms. Dixon said.
”Dont expect sinners to knock down your [church] doors,” she said. ”Jesus said, Go and make disciples.
”Are we willing to step out of our pulpits and out of our pews and make a real and practical difference in the lives of the gang bangers across the street, the alcoholic next door, and the prostitute we drive by, in order to draw them to Christ, teach them how to use their skills to make legal money and show them how to be real fathers and real mothers to their children?”

San Antonio Escorts: Some Focus on the Modern Slave Trade During MLK Day

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

Almost 47 years have passed since Martin Luther King, Jr. made his famous “I have a dream” speech. The United states and the world have made major strides since that time, but human trafficking still has millions enslaved today.
Chair of the Flathead Valley Martin Luther King Day Community Celebration Reverend Darryl Kistler says, “27 million is almost a number that is beyond anything we can think about. That would be taking every person in Montana and multiplying us by 27 and that’s how many people are involved or enslaved by human trafficking.”
According to the U.S. State Department, trafficking exists in every single U.S. state and around the globe. Between 14,500 and 17,500 people are brought to the U.S. every single year under false pretences. Many are forced into prostitution, manual labor, and other services.

San Antonio Strip Clubs: Confident Bobcats have the look of a playoff team

Saturday, January 16th, 2010

After remaking the roster to Brown’s liking with five trades involving 15 players over the past 14 months, the versatile Bobcats (17-19) sit in seventh place in the Eastern Conference entering Friday’s home game against San Antonio.
“We have good people. There’s no jealousy here,” said Brown, in the second year of his record ninth NBA head coaching job. “Stephen is an unusual personality, but he’s a great teammate and he’s a good guy.”
Jackson’s acquisition on Nov. 16 from Golden State was the riskiest move Jordan has signed off on since becoming the team’s managing partner in 2006. A superior talent, Jackson had been feuding with Warriors coach Don Nelson. His past includes his role in the infamous brawl in Auburn Hills, Mich., and being accused of firing a gun into the air outside a strip club.

San Antonio Escorts: Cow Saves White-tailed Deer’s Life

Wednesday, January 13th, 2010

George’s arrival was a blessing in disguise. One morning during a walk-about to check on the resident animals – there he was, just a few hours old. Confused by this, having all altered males and one unaltered female, PPI staff suspected that a bull from the George Strait owned San Antonio Rose Palace jumped the fence at some point and mated with Daisy. Without giving it much thought, the new arrival was appropriately named George Strait, Jr.
PrimarilyPrimates.org cares for approximately 350 primates, 61 of which are chimpanzees, and a variety of other nonhuman animals. Each animal who resides there has his or her own story. Some were brought there by private owners who admit they could no longer care for them, while others have a more horrifying past. From being used for vaccine research, space training and testing protocols by the United States Air Force, to even Wanda who was found in a brothel.
