“Robertson, 47, is charged in a case in which a 14-year-old runaway alleged she was kidnapped from in front of an East Side shelter, then forced to have sex with men for money in San Antonio and Corpus Christi, where she also danced at a strip club.
Six other people, including Robertson’s girlfriend, also are charged.
In court documents, Robertson, who was with the Spurs from 1984-1989, is alleged to have ordered the teen to dress more revealingly for a meeting with a “john” and to have sexually molested her after she had sex with another man.”
Robertson has been arrested several times on domestic violence charges. Robertson always held a special place in SportsChat’s heart for being one of four men in NBA history to record a quadruple-double.

Former NBA All-Star Alvin Robertson waived his extradition rights and is returning to San Antonio to face charges of sexual assault of a child and sex trafficking.
Bexar (BAYR) County Sheriff’s Deputy Ino Badillo (EE’-noh bah-DEE’-yoh) says Robertson is expected to arrive Friday. He was arrested in Bentonville, Ark., a week ago after Texas authorities issued a warrant.
The 47-year-old former San Antonio Spurs’ player is accused of being part of a sex trafficking ring that kidnapped a 14-year-old girl last April. The teen was allegedly forced to have sex with men around San Antonio and to dance at a Corpus Christi strip club.
Robertson’s attorney, Jimmy Parks, said Robertson wanted to return to San Antonio quickly to challenge the “scurrilous allegations.”

CBS – Former NBA All-Star Alvin Robertson is one of seven people facing charges involving sexual assault and sex trafficking of a 14 year old girl. He’s accused of forcing an underaged child to have sex with him.
Investigators say the 47-year- old athlete is part of a ring that kidnapped the girl and forced her into prostitution and dancing at a strip club.
Robertson lives in San Antonio but was arrested in Arkansas. His arrest is part of an investigation that started last April.
That’s when the teenaged girl waved down a police cruiser and told officers she had been abducted from San Antonio. The girl’s parents had reported her as a runaway.
The girl eventually escaped from a 49-year-old Corpus Christi man who was her captor, as he took a shower. He has pleaded guilty to sexual assault of a child.

Arkansas (ChattahBox) – Alvin Robertson, a former player for the Spurs, has been arrested on human trafficking and child sex charges.
Robertson is one of seven people so far in custody for a sex trafficking case involving a minor.
The case is a shocking one, with a 14-year-old girl who was allegedly kidnapped by the seven, transported out of the Texas county she disappeared from, and forced to work as a dancer and prostitute.
It is also alleged that she performed several sex acts on Robertson and the others.
“I think they took the girl to his home,” Bexar County Sheriff Amadeo Ortiz explained.
“That’s how he got involved.”
His girlfriend, Racquel McIntosh, is also charged in helping with the imprisonment, and in viewing sexual performances by the child.

Alvin Robertson arrested on a warrant issued by Texas authorities on Friday, February 26. Alvin Robertson, the former NBA All-Star and player for the San Antonio Spurs will be facing charges on sexual assault of a minor and sex trafficking. These charges are coming from allegations regarding a 14-year-old girl. The warrant also states that Robertson was part of a group of seven people that kidnapped and made the 14-year-old engage in prostitution as well as performing at a strip club.
The former NBA player has also been accused of having sexual relations with the minor and was arrested late last night in Arkansas. The warrant stems from an incident occurring last April, when the 14-year-old told police that she had been kidnapped, as well as being forced to have sex with multiple men. She said she escaped while her abductor, Leslie Campell, was in a restroom. In addition, Ivan Robertson’s girlfriend was arrested on Friday as she has also been described as being part of the group and was charged with sex trafficking and forcing a minor to have sex.

The former Spur was arrested in Bentonville, Arkansas this week for allegedly taking part in a sex trafficking ring involving a 14-year old girl.  According to his arrest warrant, Robertson is being fingered as one of seven people who kidnapped the girl and forced her into prostitution and dancing at a Corpus Christi strip club.  The warrant also accuses Robertson of sexually abusing the minor.
Jimmy Parks, Robertson’s attorney, claims Robertson is completely innocent of all charges.  Parks calls the allegations a conspiracy.  He goes on to say that his client is being targeted because of his fame (his fame?).
Wow.  Robertson is in some serious trouble here.  Let’s hope police get to the bottom of whoever is responsible for the abuse of this young girl.
